Valentine's Day Shopping-Those mesmerising moments!

Valentine's Day is round the corner and all of us are geared up. Celebrated on 14th Feb, this day means a lot to all those who are in love. Finding the right Valentine's Day gift can turn out to be one of the most difficult shopping experiences. It’s very different from your regular Birthday gifts or perhaps choosing a gift for some other occasion. At least I make sure to buy a gift that can speak my heart out in-front of my beloved.



For me Valentine's day is one of the most memorable of my life, for this day was the one when I met my husband for the first time. It was the first day of my college. I was walking down the stairs when suddenly someone pushed me from behind. Knowingly, unknowingly I pushed the one who was just after me. What’s more, the next moment I found myself lying beside the staircase, unconsciously looking in his eyes, before I could raise an alarm I was in his arms. He picked me like a feather and I like a princess very calmly and quietly, rested in his arms while he was taking me to the campus doctor.



That was the best day of my college life. Life moved on and I graduated. His memories faded away slowly and steadily. But the sentiments I had for him never faded. I left New York and moved to Chicago, started working there as a lifestyle correspondent. Life was moving on and so was I. Though I was happy and content emotionally, but the fact that he wasn’t around always takes me back to the first day of my college.



Once, walking down the lane, I again stumbled down but this time only to fall in his arms. Time and memories fumbled my thoughts. The picture that has faded with time came live. It revitalised my inner most feelings and with tears filled eyes I hugged him and yet again with that same calm and quiet poise he wished me happy Valentine Day!



Today is the day that I am happily married. Every Valentine's Day he makes a point to shop for me. It is said that the nature of the gift reflects your thoughts but I disagree. Though he has a weird taste, still I like and love him the same way I did when I had first fallen in his arms.
